Dear Sylvie family, my condolences on the loss of a wonderful and kind hearted person. From the day at St. Boniface to the days on Huron street, you couldn’t find a much soft spoken person. My prayers are with you!

As I was trying to write something about Dad, I found myself struggling. I was truly at a loss for the right words. Maybe it’s because Dad was not big on words. He spoke through his actions. He didn’t preach faith, integrity, kindness and love, he lived faith, integrity, kindness and love. Even in a loud, crowded room, His gentle voice could always be heard, and his gentle spirit could always be felt. I will carry your gentle spirit with me Dad. I will hear your whisper and be continually reminded that actions speak much louder than words…that faith, kindness, integrity and love are not just meant to be spoken, they are meant to be lived. Here’s to a life well lived Dad, here’s to you! ❤️

Well, where do you begin when you lose someone that you saw during your whole upbringing? My mom’s younger brother and protector when my dad moved on. My uncle Armand is and was a special man. A man who just had to look at me to keep me in line when I was a kid and a man that told me, I would do great things. A huge supporter of mine that I always admired. He was a 2nd dad in the 1242 Huron household! (Ya’ll know who you are). Fortunately, I was able to see him and talk with him and hug him and party with him in these last 2 months. My memories of him are beyond words, but he set a standard to work hard, enjoy nature, don’t sweat the small things, play hard, fish, and to serve others. Well, Unc, your job here is finished and you did it well! Thanks for being you! Thanks for your legacy! Peace and love to his whole family, all my cousins, and everyone whose lives he touched! Let’s keep that legacy alive and well. May all his work and love not be in vain. ✌🏽❤️
